Welcome to truloop — a space to stay close with your people, look back on moments that matter, and move through time together.

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of truloop's services, including the app, website, software, and communication channels. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

truloop is owned and operated by But Beautiful Co., headquartered in Sacramento, CA, United States. In these Terms, “we” and “us” refer to the company, and “you” refers to users of the service.

2. Your Responsibilities

By using truloop, you agree to the following:

• You are at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction), or at least 13 with parental consent
• You will keep your account credentials secure and not share them
• You will use the service lawfully, respectfully, and in line with these Terms

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, with notification via app or email. Continued use of truloop after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. We may also modify or discontinue the service at any time.

4. Paid Features & Subscriptions

• Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges
• Payments may recur automatically until cancelled
• Charges are final unless specified otherwise
• Failed payments may result in access suspension

5. Content & Licensing

Your Content

You retain ownership of everything you upload. By using truloop, you grant us a license to host, process, and display your content as needed to operate the service. This license terminates when you delete your content or account.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload.

Our Content

truloop's code, design, brand, and infrastructure are owned by But Beautiful Co. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Violate any laws or rights of others
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
• Upload harmful, abusive, or illegal content
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools
• Reverse-engineer or interfere with the service

We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion.

7. Feedback

If you share feedback or suggestions with us, you grant truloop a royalty-free license to use it for any purpose.

8. Access & Devices

You are responsible for your internet connection, data fees, and device compatibility. We do not guarantee truloop will work on all devices or operating system versions.

9. Copyright

If you believe content on truloop infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to contact@butbeautifulco.com. We may remove infringing content and disable repeat infringers.

10. Deleting Your Account

You may delete your account at any time. This removes your personal data and content unless we are legally required to retain it. We may also suspend or terminate accounts for inactivity, violations, or misuse.

11. Disclaimers

truloop is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee continuous availability, uninterrupted service, or error-free operation. Jurisdiction-specific disclaimer limitations may apply.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, But Beautiful Co. is not liable for lost profits, data loss, or indirect, incidental, or special damages. Our maximum liability is capped at $100 USD. Use of truloop is at your own risk.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold truloop and its team harmless from any claims related to your content, your violation of these Terms, or your misuse of the service.

14. Arbitration & Dispute Resolution

We encourage informal resolution before legal action. Disputes will proceed through binding arbitration rather than court, administered by a mutually agreed service in Sacramento County, California.

Both you and truloop waive the right to jury trials and class actions.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Non-arbitrated legal actions will occur in Sacramento County, California state or federal courts.

16. Miscellaneous

• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and truloop
• Invalid provisions don't void the remaining terms
• We may transfer these Terms; you cannot without permission
• Our failure to enforce a right doesn't waive it

17. SMS Terms

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS text messages from truloop solely for authentication purposes, such as verifying your phone number during signup or login. We do not send promotional messages via SMS.

• Rates: Standard message and data rates apply per your carrier
• Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message, or email contact@butbeautifulco.com
• Help: Reply HELP or contact our support team

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

18. Contact
